DCE was appointed to carry out the (Detailed Design - Stage 2) RSA for Ras Hayyan Development. Ras Hayan Development is located at the east coast of Bahrain, and land use includes both commercial use with a significant allocation to residential villas. The development is designed to have intertidal wetland areas to maintain the northern neighboring mangroves. The proposed development aligns with the Government of Bahrain plan for enhancing the living conditions of its citizens.
The proposed development is a reclaimed island located at the east coast of Bahrain. It is served by Hawar Highway that is connected to King Hamad Highway and connects Ras Hayan Island to the rest of Bahrain. The development consists of three main distributor roads, while the rest of the roads are classified as local roads.
