DCE was appointed to conduct a traffic impact study for Waste Landfill Mesaieed, Qatar.
The waste landfill features a number of weighbridges and a buffer area where trucks can wait to be served by the weighbridges before proceeding into the landfill site.
The buffer area can accommodate 45 trucks, arranged in nine lanes with each lane having a space for five trucks. Trucks enter the site via the northeast corner of the plot before reaching the buffer area and exit the site in the opposite direction.
