DCE were appointed by Gannet Fleming to complete the Detailed Design (Stage 3) Audits for the new Qatar Rail Metro Stations in Doha, Qatar. The Qatar Metro Station Area Planning (SAP) project has been developed by Qatar Rail and the Central Planning Office (CPO) of the former Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning (MMUP), now the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), in conjunction with the various stakeholders to prepare outline designs for thirty-five (35) of the metro stations that form Phase I of the Qatar Rail metro implementation project.
