DCE were appointed by Atkins to undertake concept design (Stage 1) and detailed design (Stage 3) audits for Qetaifan Island North.
The Qetaifan Island North (QIN) is located around 150m off the coast of Lusail within the southern part of Al Daayen Municipality and are surrounded by the shallow waters of the Arabian Gulf. The islands, along with the wider Lusail City, are located within 20km of several other major landmark developments in Doha including Qatar Entertainment City, Katara, The Pearl and West Bay.
QIN is a key element of Lusail City’s expansion project, a comprehensive master plan development and is envisioned to be a high-end mixed-use island community with primary focus on promoting its unique destination for leisure, retail and entertainment, cultural experience and waterfront activities.
