DCE was appointed to carry out the (Detailed Design - Stage 2) for Jeddah Historical District (JHD).
This project is located within the city of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Package C consists of several roads, including Al Madina Road (posted speed limit 50kph) and Old Makkah Road (posted speed limit 30kph). The majority of roads are local low speed internal urban roads (posted speed limit 20kph). The roads are a mix of 1-way and 2-way roads. Bus stops are also provided at regular intervals.
Package D consists of several roads. Road 23 and Road 30 (posted speed limit 30kph) are 2 lane dual carriageways. All other roads are local low speed internal urban roads (posted speed limit 20kph). The roads are a mix of 1-way and 2-way roads. Bus stops are also provided at regular intervals
