DCE was appointed to carry out the (Construction Stage - Stage 4) for Construction of Shigri Link Road. The scheme is located approximately 50km west of Tabuk.
The scheme consists of a 2-way single carriageway with a posted speed of 100kph, as well as tie-ins to Highway 8784 (to the north) and Highway 80 (to the south). The scheme also provides 2 U-turns in the median of Highway 8784 and 2 U-turns in the median of Highway 80.
The scheme is approximately 13km long in total.
The scheme does not include the existing road network on Highway 8784 and Highway 80. However, it does include the provision of new steel barriers, widening of lanes and provision of road markings in some locations.
