DCE was appointed to carry out the Construction Stage (Stage 4) RSA for Roads and Infrastructure in South of Al Meshaf.
This project is located in the Al Meshaf/Al Wukair area, to the southwest side of Al Wakrah. The project is split into several ‘Zones’. The scope of this RSA covers Zone 2 only.
The overall project area is substantially residential in nature.
Zone 2 (Muaither Street) is a two dual carriageway road, with service roads, travelling north-south between Zone 1 and Zone 3.
The posted speed in Zone 2 is 50kph (on the mainline and service roads).
There are 2 signalised intersections in Zone 2 (on Muaither Street) and 1 signalised midblock pedestrian crossing.
Footpaths are provided throughout the scheme, and parking is provided on the service roads.
There are 3 bus stops in the scheme (1 on northbound service road, 1 on southbound service road and 1 on the southbound mainline).
