DCE were appointed by ACE Consulting Engineers to conduct a Traffic Impact Study (TIS) for four separate plots as part of the Al Azaab Markets in various locations around Qatar. The proposed developments were a commercial in nature. From the pre-initiation meeting discussions with MOTC, it was agreed that a development plan review only would be carried out for these plots based on the limited number of trips that was expected to be generated by these markets.. A detailed development plan review process was carried out to check access width, parking layout, internal / external vehicle and pedestrian circulation, sight distance, road safety, drop off/pick up and service vehicle provisions.
