Traffic Study Report for North Feild Expansion Project, Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC)

DCE were appointed to conduct a Traffic Study Report for Project Related Traffic for Labour Camp Area within Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) as part of the North Field Expansion project. For the construction, there will be labour transport movements between the labour camp areas and the project locations, as required. Additionally, there will be labour traffic for the neighbouring EPC-1, EPC-3, EPC-4 and LGV camps. These expected movements are considered as part of this traffic impact assessment. The purpose of this report is to assess the levels of service achieved at the accesses/junctions as a result of the construction related labour traffic to the road network in proximity to the labour camp area. This will be done by analysing the estimated traffic volumes and proposed routes to establish if the routing is sufficient or if alternative routes should be considered.
